Blockade at Río de la Loza due to Daniel Tadeo case

The family of Daniel Tadeo, who was killed by Gabriela 'N', has blocked Río de la Loza in order to seek an agreement regarding compensation for the damage following the death of the 29-year-old. Despite a hearing held on December 13, no resolution was reached.

This is not the first time that Daniel Tadeo's family has staged blockades in protest of the young man's murder. On this occasion, they are demanding a response and concrete actions from the Attorney General's Office of Mexico City regarding the case. Last December, they had already protested at the same location for approximately 50 hours.

The blockade on Río de la Loza has also affected other major roads in the Cuauhtémoc borough, such as Niños Héroes, Chapultepec, Cuauhtémoc, Bucareli, Balderas, and the areas near Digna Ochoa and Plácido in the Doctores neighborhood. The protests have created complications in traffic, with Reforma and Eje 2 Sur recommended as alternate routes.

Gabriela 'N' has been linked to the process since December 13 and has been allowed to conduct the proceedings in freedom, which has caused distress among the victim's family. Daniel Tadeo, who worked as a delivery driver, lost his life in an accident caused by the 19-year-old when she crossed into the opposing lane on December 4.

Despite the protest at Río de la Loza, so far, the authorities and Mayor Alessandra Rojo de la Vega have not commented on the demands of Daniel Tadeo's family or on the resolution of the accident case in Mexico City.
